PRENEU embraces
challenges without limits.

PRENEU (CEO Lee Jong-kyung), a company specializing in unmanned aerial vehicle manufacturing and development, announced that it has launched a micro data link "D-DL-V2 (DRONEiT DataLink V2102)" exclusively for unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned aerial vehicles.

The data link in the ISM band (2.4Ghz to 5.8Ghz), which is mainly used by small UAVs in Korea, could only be used within a short distance of 3km due to the limitation of the output of related laws and regulations in transmitting and receiving long-distance images. Although the 5030-5150Mhz band is designated as an unmanned aerial vehicle control and mission area for long-distance communication, there are no commercialized products in Korea yet, and some available overseas products are heavy and bulky, making them less useful for long-distance unmanned aerial vehicles.

On the other hand, the PRENEU D-DL-V2 is an ultra-small data link dedicated to UAVs and UAVs, and can be used by designating 5030-5150Mhz (basic support for 2.4-5.8Ghz bands), which are dedicated to drones, and if the output is raised to 10W, FHD-class images and data can be transmitted and received in real time for up to 30km or more. In addition, it can be used without burden in military and maritime operations where long-distance missions are carried out with a weight of less than 100g.

"Although the operational time of unmanned aircraft has increased to more than an hour and the distance has increased to 100 kilometers, communication modules that will support flight performance are entirely dependent on foreign products," said a representative for PRENEU. "The launch of D-DL-V2 can be applied by expanding to small unmanned aircraft and unmanned vehicles in the private sector as well as the military and police as the long-distance communication module, Data Link, is localized." It can be used in various fields such as real-time video reception and reconnaissance/control, non-visible flight, remote control and control, he predicted.

PRENEU has a wide range of unmanned aerial vehicle-related technologies ranging from unmanned aerial vehicle design and manufacturing, core component development, software for operation and control, and artificial intelligence (AI) and is expanding its business to be used in various industries such as military, company, and smart city.

Meanwhile, PRENEU will participate in the "2021 Unmanned Mobile Industry Expo" to be held at COEX in Samseong-dong from September 26 to 28 to showcase various core components including ultra-small data links and its main unmanned aerial vehicle models.
