PRENEU, a comprehensive unmanned aerial vehicle manufacturing and development company, will enter the local market in earnest after signing an official agency contract with TERRA DRONE TECHNOLOGY MALAYSIA (hereinafter referred to as TDMY).
TDMY is a Malaysian subsidiary of Japan's TERRA DRONE, the world's second-largest drone service provider. PRENEU plans to launch full-fledged sales marketing in Malaysia through an agency contract with TDMY.
PRENEU aims to expand its accumulated reconnaissance drone technology and experience by delivering it to the domestic military market to the Malaysian market and supply various defense reconnaissance drone solutions to local military and police through TDMY.
IZWAN BIN ZAINAL ABIDIN, CEO of TDMY, showed interest in PRENEU's independent security technology, which has been verified through a number of drone defense industry projects in Korea after touring the PRENEU plant and confirming its manufacturing base.
The security module developed by PRENEU itself is a differentiated technology that meets the security requirements of drones by enhancing the security of sensitive information collected by drones with dedicated data links.
With various drone applications combined with the existing TERRA DRONE's service platform as well as the defense industry, PRENEU has set a goal for joint development of various private sector drone markets in Malaysia, and with this agreement, it expects to lay the groundwork for targeting the Malaysian market, an emerging economic powerhouse in Southeast Asia.
In particular, PRENEU's small electric helicopter drone "RUEPEL" for reconnaissance is expected to secure considerable competitiveness in the Malaysian market as it is considered to be an excellent aircraft in performance and utilization in the global market.
In addition, the new vertical take-off and landing fixed-wing drone "MILVUS," which will be released next year, is expected to be a strategic product that will target the Malaysian market with a large territory by dramatically improving flight time compared to the previous one.
Lee Jong-kyung, CEO of PRENEU, said, "With the signing of the agency contract, PRENEU's manufacturing technology has been verified, and it has laid the groundwork for a successful leap forward in overseas markets through an overseas network that has become more solid in Southeast Asia."
